- Data protection - it is a requirement of data protection laws in the UK to tell individuals how and why you use their personal data in the course of your business. This information will be given to individuals via a privacy notice. We recommend including a link to your privacy notice in your email disclaimer so that the privacy information is easily accessible by individuals.
