Docue is now ISO 27001 certified – your data is in safe hands
On 28 April 2025, Docue was awarded the ISO 27001 certification following a comprehensive information security audit. The certification, granted by an independent expert body, confirms that our security management meets the highest international standards.
What is ISO 27001?
ISO/IEC 27001 is a globally recognised standard that defines the requirements for a high-quality information security management system (ISMS). It shows that an organisation systematically identifies, manages, and minimises security risks, while following best practices to ensure data confidentiality, integrity and availability.
Managing risks systematically across the entire organisation
Docue has long been committed to building a comprehensive security management system to identify, control and mitigate risks proactively. The system applies across all teams, offices and operations throughout the Docue Group – all of which were included in the scope of the audit.
Maintaining the ISO 27001 certification requires annual external audits. Additionally, we regularly conduct internal and third-party security testing of our systems and infrastructure.
Keep your documents safe – and accessible only to the right people
All documents and user data stored in Docue are encrypted, backed up and hosted on servers located within the EU.
Every signed document is sealed with a 256-bit digital fingerprint to prove that it hasn’t been modified after signing. This makes each document traceable and legally verifiable – a crucial safeguard in situations like legal disputes, where proving the authenticity and enforceability of a contract matters.
Users log in with personal credentials, and two-factor authentication is available as an extra layer of protection. Admin users can easily manage permissions to control who sees what – whether it’s board members, employees or your accountant.
